Experience
Design Leader

📍 Seattle, WA

I earned a BFA in Graphic Design from Auburn University in 2015. My career began in branding, continued into advertising, and after completing the User Experience Design and Front End Web Development courses at General Assembly, pivoted into product design for software.

As a leader and as a designer, I believe that ideas have real value when they are connected to a purpose that benefit people. The team’s goals will become my goals. Whether the goal in question is contributing to the business bottom line, navigating a specific project, or stewarding someone’s next career step, I am a partner and champion.

My zone of genius is galvanizing cross-functional teams to work together and see a project through to the end. I do this by building strategic relationships, identifying opportunities to enhance our team’s efficiency and effectiveness, and of course, championing the end user’s experience.

Plus, I have a demonstrated ability to grind when it’s time. As a long distance runner, I’m no stranger to enduring the pain cave. Ask me about my self-organized, four-day ultra marathon event around Mt. Rainier.

“Working with Lexa was such a joy! She listened to our ideas on branding and created beautiful vision boards to help us narrow down our colors, fonts, and overall “vibes.” She was timely and professional. She made something I am very proud of that represents my company.”
