I earned a BFA in Graphic Design in 2015 and began my career in branding and advertising before pivoting into product design for software. As my work evolved, I became increasingly drawn to the systems behind great design — how teams collaborate, how decisions connect to outcomes, and how intentional leadership elevates the work. That progression naturally led me into management.

As a leader and as a designer, I believe that ideas have real value when they are connected to a purpose that benefits people. The team’s goals become my goals. Whether the focus is contributing to the business bottom line, navigating a complex project, or stewarding someone’s next career step, I show up as a partner and champion.

My zone of genius is galvanizing cross-functional teams to work together and see a project through to the end. I do this by building strategic relationships, identifying opportunities to enhance our team’s efficiency and effectiveness, and championing the end user’s experience — because aligned teams multiply impact.

Plus, I have a demonstrated ability to grind when it’s time. As a long-distance runner, I’m no stranger to enduring the pain cave. Ask me about my self-organized, four-day ultra marathon event around Mt. Rainier.
